lives and works in Berlin. Graduated Goldsmiths College 2000.
Camila has recently shown at Assembly, Glamourhammer and Landscape
Trauma, which was reviewed in Art Monthly (sept 2001). She was also
in EV+A in Ireland this year.Sposati will be showing the video Talk to Me (3min). The video uses material filmed from a police helicopter cruising over Sao Paolo, during daytime through to the glittering city at night, evoking the illusion of transparency in the overlook and surveillance. The impressive cityscape is accompanied by a soundtrack of a dialogue between a man and a woman. They do not appear to be quite in the same frame of communication, though in the same place. Spoken in Bazilian Portugese, this intimate dialogue is subtitled into English over the cityscape as part of the image.
